Healed of Cancer

"I don't know what to say...I had drifted away from God. I had asked my cousin, who attend Connect Church, to help me - help me find a church and to pray for me. I did not feel worthy of forgiveness. I felt I had no right to ask God for any favors. My cousin told me about the church and I felt I needed to go with him. When the pastor preached his sermon, I felt like he was speaking directly to me! I wept and wept! I was dying of cancer. The pastor and my cousin prayed for me after the service and I felt something change in me. I asked Jesus to come back into my life."

The following week, Joe went into 3 days of tests to get more details on the cancer. All the results came back negative!

Healed of rare liver and spleen conditions

"I had been experiencing pain on and off in my upper abdomen for a few months and finally went to see my doctor. She looked quite concerned about my abdomen being very swollen on the left side, and told me to have an ultrasound promptly. I had one the following day and the results showed that I had some issues with my liver and spleen. I was prompted to see a specialist and had to wait a few weeks. During this period, I experienced a lot of pain and had trouble sleeping at night, as I frequently awoke in pain. Last Tuesday, I saw a specialist and after examining me for close to an hour, she determined me to be a rare case. I was given a lot of prescriptions to have various tests done. Then Tuesday night, at my Life Group meeting, everyone prayed for me. During the night, I woke up to use the bathroom and realized that I wasn't feeling any pain, and upon examination, the swelling was gone!"

Healed of sciatic nerve pain

A gentleman in our church came to service with sciatic nerve pain. He came forward asking for prayer. That day, the sciatic nerve pain disappeared. The next day, he encountered another man who was also experiencing severe sciatic nerve pain - so severe that he was dependent on his cane to walk. He prayed for this man and HE was healed from all pain and did not have to use his cane at all to move around!

Healed of gall stones

A man had a CT scan that revealed he had "significant gall stones." So he came to church and asked for prayer before service began. The leadership brought him forward at the start of the service to pray for him. That next week, he went back to the doctor to have an x-ray done. The x-ray revealed he had no more gall stones!

Severe brain trauma

A woman in our church has a son who was thrown from a moving car. He experienced severe brain trauma, was on a feeding tube and breathing through a trach tube. She came with this urgent prayer request in service on Sunday. Connect Church prayed, believing for a miracle. Hours later, she received word that her son woke up and was giving "thumbs ups" to the nurses!
